Wetherspoon is slashing the price of steaks, curries and pub meals and there are pints for 99p

Wetherspoon is reducing the price of its meals for three months.

Spoons says 660 of its pubs across Britain have cut the cost of breakfast, classic meals and cold cuts, steaks and curries from Wednesday November 10.

The new meal prices, which follow a price cut on some drinks introduced earlier this month, will last until February 28, 2022.

Customers can now get a fried egg, sausage, bacon and cheese breakfast muffin served with a hot drink for £2.49, and honey or banana porridge served with a hot drink for £1, £99.

Classic pub meals, which include fish and chips, five bean chilli and ham, eggs and chips, are now sold for £3.99 with a soft drink or £5.29 with an alcoholic drink.

Spoons has also reduced the price of its Tuesday Steak Club meals.

An 8oz sirloin steak now costs £6.99 with a soft drink or £8.29 with a selected alcoholic drink.

There are also new reduced prices for other Steak Club meals, while the Thursday Curry Club offer is now £5.99 with a soft drink or £7.29 with an alcoholic drink.

Earlier this month Wetherspoon also slashed the price of some alcoholic drinks, with pints of Greene King IPA or Ruddles County available for 99p at 671 pubs until Tuesday November 30.

Bottles of Becks and individual measures of Bell’s Whiskey with a mixer cost 99p from the same pubs. Drinks are priced at £1.10 in some pubs, particularly those in Scotland where the minimum alcohol unit price applies.

Prices vary between Wetherspoon pubs, particularly in key London and airport locations, but the new food deals will be available in 660 of them.

Wetherspoon Chairman Tim Martin said: “We think this is a fantastic offering with a great choice of meals, from breakfast to curry, available to customers at great prices.”
