Ireland is gearing up for the May Bank Holiday, with many ready to enjoy a long weekend.
Anyone looking to treat themselves or stock up should check out Irish shops and supermarkets who have advertised some amazing deals.
Customers could save a lot of money shopping, with brands like Lidl, SuperValu, Aldi, Tesco and Dunnes advertising cheap food and drink.

To save you time, we’ve rounded up the best bank holiday deals from a range of stores.
Soft drink lovers can find up to two dozen cans of Coke for only €10.
Lidl stores across Ireland have a special offer on Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero from Thursday 28th April until Wednesday 4th May.
Buyers can mix and match two boxes of 10 or 12 packs for €10.
Some of Lidl’s other holiday deals include two award-winning Irish Angus Rib Eye steaks for €9.99, a Guinness eight-pack for €13.49 and a Sharp 42-inch UHD smart TV for €309.99.
Lidl also offers a Lidl Plus app for additional savings on select products.
SuperValu is offering a four to €4 flash offer on a selection of sweets, cookies and confectionery.
A wide range of products are included in the deal, including packs of KitKats, bottles of Lucozade and multi-packs of Wotsit chips.
The flash offer is live now and runs while supplies last, although shoppers are warned that customer quotas apply.
Some of their other best bank holiday deals include a €5 breakfast with everything you need for a full Irish, a steak sale with 33% off select cuts and a 70cl bottle of Dingle Gin for €25.
SuperValu also offers a Real Rewards card to earn points every time you shop.
If you’re planning on spending the bank holiday weekend outside, Aldi has a range of special garden buys to help spruce up your garden.
You can pick up a 4-in-1 electric weeder for $34.99, a Keter garden storage box for $39.99, or a pewter effect trough for $19.99.
Once the garden is tidy, if you want to eat outdoors, they also have a pizza oven at €49.00 or an inexpensive disposable BBQ tray at €2.99, as well as good deals in their food range BBQ.
You can stock up on holiday treats at Tesco stores, which are offering a three for €3 deal on a range of products, including 1-litre bottles of MiWadi, dairy milk share bars and multipacks of a few Tayto chips, including cheeses, skips, and wicked. .
Some of their other holiday offers include two for €3.75 on a range of soft drinks, three for €10 on a range of meat and fish products and a 70cl bottle of Aperol for 10, 00.
Shoppers can use their Club Card for additional discounts on select products.
Dunnes Stores has announced food and drink deals over the bank holidays, including a massive 20% sale on wine and champagne.
Some of their most popular bottles of reds, whites and pinks are just €8 – perfect for enjoying over the long weekend or for stocking up.
They also have a three-for-two mix and match deal on their new Italian range, which includes pizza, garlic bread and pasta.
Shoppers also get €10 off their next store every time they spend €50 at Dunnes.
