Local cuisine: Cajun Krab in the Saginaw region serves seafood dishes galore
KOCHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MI – The former Teppanyaki Grill & Supreme Buffet in Saginaw County is no more. But a new seafood restaurant named Cajun Krab has filled the space with seafood dishes galore.
The menu offers a range of dishes such as snow crab legs, shrimp, catfish, plaice, clams and even chicken wings. Customers can take their pick of combo meals such as Cajun Boil, Perfect Storm, and Reel Fishing, featuring crab legs, prawns, New Zealand mussels, crayfish, and other sides.
The restaurant, located at 3210 Bay Road in Saginaw County, prides itself on always creating new dishes.
Daoqin Ni bought the restaurant during the coronavirus pandemic, he said, and runs it with his family. The restaurant’s old layout – buffet style – has been removed and it now serves a la carte dishes. Customers can choose to eat in or take out.
“We changed the style,” Ni said. “We only do all the seafood on the menu.
And the change has been good. The business has been busy since opening in early June, the owner said.
