Agreed, but lets not worship theology or theologians.
ReplyDeleteThe brilliance of Jesus' teaching and parables is that they go beyond the wisdom of the philosopher and theologian - expressing things in ways that the theologian can't even touch.
Theology is good, vital, wonderful but Jesus is better.
I think the point is that when theology is what theology is meant to be it is about knowing Jesus... 'we have the mind of Christ'
