Liveblogging from UCCF Forum 2008

Forum is the Christian Union's national student leadership conference. Held at the Quinta Centre in Shropshire this year sees a record 900 people on site, over 700 of them students. These students are leaders involved in mission teams which are church-partnerships for mission. They seek to reach non-Christian students with the gospel, for the growth of the local churches.

I'll liveblog from the conference, which will include the launch of 400,000 copies of Mark's gospel into student hands.... preaching from Richard Cunningham and Graham Daniels plus John Piper whose sessions will be on the Book of Ruth and on 'let the nations be glad' at our world service evening, which we hope will spark many students to make themselves available for global missions.

I'm working at the conference, as a member of UCCF's Leadership Team, which includes giving two of the seminars on Studying for Jesus and Loving the Church, and hosting the South West gathering on Monday evening. Your prayers are appreciated for us during this strategic and exciting week.

The conference begins late this afternoon and I'll attempt to post photos, mp3 interviews and notes as time and technology permit between now and Friday, with assorted bits and pieces to follow after that.

Mp3's are usually online within a couple of weeks of this conference. Audio from Forum 2007 by Hugh Palmer, Brother Andrew, Lindsay Brown, Richard Cuningham, Mike Reeves and others.

Well, I was debating an attempt at liveblogging too, but I think you might do a better job! See you this evening!
