Train hits Cow

Delays on the Reading-Shalford line today after a train hit a cow, sometime this morning (I wasn't on the train at the time). Not as bad as the recent floods on that line in terms of delays - though they were still effecting things 8 hours later. From this we conclude cows are not as bad as rain. How useful to know. Quite why a cow would want to throw itself under a train is a mystery. Maybe a political campaign?

  2. You got any pictures? Post'em at Railroad Forums. They even cover Europe's trains.

  3. I once landed at Cork Airport only to take off immediately again because there was a cow on the runway. Perhaps he wanted to come to Berkshire. Same cow, perhaps? Having found the airplane trick too hard, he went for First trains instead...?
